With 130 employees and an annual handling and transport volume of four million tons, BEHALA is one of Germany’s largest inland ports. The Westhafen port with its high-capacity container terminal is optimally connected to transport networks and both the Südhafen port in Spandau and the port in Neukölln satisfy all the requirements for guaranteeing logistically sustainable solutions now and in the future. And that goes far beyond handling and the renting of industrial properties: with almost 100 years of experience, BEHALA, which is owned by the state and therefore independent, is now Berlin’s modern and customer-oriented logistics service provider – Capital.Logistics is our business.
Together with our partners and customers we develop innovative logistics concepts from the handling of bulk cargo, general cargo and heavy lift cargo up to 500 tons to ecologically viable drive technologies for use in the operation of port and regional railways right up to the planning, conversion and rental of logistics properties.
