Your duties
- Properly operating our silo equipment for storing and retrieving goods, including weighing and cleaning systems
- Planning and documenting storage capacity using appropriate IT systems
- Communicating with customers and receiving and processing the resulting work orders
- Taking samples from sea freight containers, including moisture measurements and dispatch
- Transporting sea freight containers to and from the silo facility within the site using a lorry and tipping container chassis
- Monitoring stored goods and carrying out cleaning work inside the silo facilities
Your profile
- Completed three-year vocational training in a practical trade or commercial occupation
- Knowledge of silo operation, plant technology or production equipment
- A strong sense of responsibility when handling high-value bulk goods in day-to-day work
- Good communication skills with customers and colleagues
- Willingness to learn about the specialist equipment and vehicle technology
- Willingness to work a regular two-shift system, and occasionally at weekends and on public holidays
- Category C/CE driving licence
